The leaves from the trees are dropping like flies. The wind is tearing them off the the branches and swirling them all around. By tomorrow the trees will be bare. It is beginning to feel like winter has come to the coast.
Wonderful image and post Elizabeth! Melancholy but somehow hopeful at the same time. The leaves dropping and swirling in the wind lead my mind to the inevitable sprouting of new leaves when spring arrives again. Both images are quite soothing and restful to my mind.
