The Three Muses Challenge this week is Mail Art. They always pick such fitting themes. I found in my files this darling letter from Cora to her cousin Mabel about her hopes that Santa will come and visit her. I teamed that with the postage background and a vintage photo of a mailman and I was all set.
Oh wow this is stunning.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant design.
Elizabeth, this is so charming and timely! That postcard is delightful! Holiday Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteElizabeth I love this one, I wonder if Santa did call on her and if Mabel was minded to write sooner the next time? Your vintage Postie looks like he would rather be home waiting for Santa than delivering letters by the look on his face. Simply wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and wonderful image.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful collage, Elizabeth, and the postman image is superb! Thanks for the freebies, and for the recipe, and thanks, as always, for sharing your talent with us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collage, Elizabeth! This really makes me wish that people would write more letters and postcards nowadays, they are so wonderful to get and keep. - And thank you for all the fantastic freebies you have posted on your blog!
ReplyDeleteThis is delightful, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteFantastic collage. I love it.
Merry christmas to you and yours.
What a brilliant card, Elizabeth, love your collage & especially the letter - perfect!
ReplyDeleteA truly superb collage, Elizabeth (and it's never too late). What a treasure the faded pink postcard is. I love the rather bored looking postman. The background is wonderful - and thankyou so much for making it a freebie for your blog friends. I really appreciate it.
