The Three Muses Challenge - Angels

say a little prayer

This weeks challenge from The Three Muses is Angels. One of my favorite themes. I love to take pictures in cemeteries of the towns I visit. You can tell so much about a place by their cemeteries. Here is my angel. We all could use a prayer or two. I am praying for a better year for everyone.

yes extra prayers are very welcome.
I used to take the boys( then toddlers) for walks on the cemetry in Perth as that was the only safe place nearby for them to walk freely.

  17. This is one of the most expressive and beautiful stone angels I've seen! Thank you so much for sharing her. I love to explore old cemeteries too. I once visited an old pioneer cemetery where some of my ancestors were buried. Noting a message nearly buried from view, I carefully brushed aside grass and soil to read "Think of me as you pass by, for you too shall surely die"! Hmmm
