Summer always reminds me of lazy days. My parents use to drop my brother and I off at my grandmother's so they could have a little break. I remember getting up early before the heat to work in the garden. Fishing on the lake in a little row boat. Trips to the library followed by reading on the porch. Afternoon visits with family and friends. Vases of flowers scattered around the house. What kind of summer memories do you have?
Love this layout....

Summer memories?...MY FAMILY!!!
Such lovely memories, Elizabeth! I, too, spent many of my summers with my Grandmother. She cooked in the morning, and in the afternoon we would sit on the porch and she would teach me how to sew, embroider and crochet. After dinner, we'd tend to the garden. It was idyllic!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteGrandpa's house but maybe a little taller. We were safe on the farm when the city was flooding. Fields of wheat, watermelon, stale crackers and bats at night. I was 7and still remember the old wood smell.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories.
