One of the Yahoo groups - Altered Designs - them this week is circles. I like circles and thought I would see what I could come up with. So I spent the early morning working on several digital pieces. Circle is the underlying theme.
This collage felt like it should be in black and white. When I first saw her I thought she has that look in her eyes that says "trapped." Of course she is trying to make the most of life - under someone else's terms. That is all I am going to say about that....
beautiful piece..you are so right about the black and white...someday maybe i will get the hang of digital work..just can't figure out photoshop!! still trying,though.

ReplyDeleteYou captured her look perfectly, it all reminds me of a book I read years ago called "Alias Grace" by Margaret Atwood, about a woman in prison, it was probably in the same era as this lady is going by her clothing.
