Photograph - Look

These windows look like they have seen a lot of comings and goings. I saw them all stacked up just waiting to be repurposed and knew I had to get a shot of them. They reminded me to really look outside of what I think things are and to always enjoy the view.

  2. Like so many of your wonderful shots I can see this one, down the road, being altered or used digital mode.
I have some friends that find my photos of old buildings, doors, barns, etc. depressing. I tell them that I honor these things. They served a purpose at one time. They were important and now at the end of their days they should be respected and a record made. :)Bea

  3. Love this photo! I took a bunch of photos in Taos at a place that sold all kinds of old doors and windows etc. Love looking at them!

  4. great foto of these old windows..looking through is not always seeing into...
love your inspiring blog...love the little tiny houses 2 by 2´s...so colorful and wonderful backgrounds on them....it is a REAL chore going through all the art supplies and "stuff" before a move,,,very labor intensive...I have done it 2 times in the last 5 years...our house is finally finished and my new studio is up and running....but I think it is due for a Spring cleaning...you have inspired me to go through my "stuff" once again. Get rid of clutter,,,freshen it up a bit.
    Good luck on moving!!

  7. These are SO you - fabulous shot and I'm so glad to look at them! I haven't been out with my camera for quite a while, all the snow and ice, which is a bounty for sure, but I'll wait till it warms up a bit:)

  9. Great shot! I've been doing quite a bit of photo altering lately (hand altering not digital) and can see amazing possibilities. Of course, it's great just as it is. We all need reminders to Look. Thanks for sharing.
