Digital Collage - In Dreams...

Lately I have been feeling the need to get my hands dirty with paint, paper, and glue. I miss having a studio to lose myself in creating. How lucky you are to have a place to sit down and get your paper wet. Digital work has had to replace the act of creating at my art table. Hopefully, in the next few months I will have found a house and have set up a studio. Till then, digital is my salvation. Here is my latest digital collage.

  1. And, mighty fine digital work it is. But, you'll have a really nice file of digital work when you finally have that studio set up.

  2. I love the deep rich colours of this piece. I am amazed that you are able to create art without a house in which to work. I hope you settle and are able to get messing working in your own art space again soon. penny

  3. this is a beautiful piece. the colors are wonderful and there is great depth! i'm working on color..depth is beyond me at this point! still figuring out layers. digital work really gives so much to a piece, but I still love the feel of the different papers, sorting through them, the smell and feel of glue, cuting..moving everything around! When you settle with an "art place" to work at..how much fun to merge didtal and paper!.
of course..if I had your digital talent,i'd probably love it best!!!!a happy weekend to you!

  4. This is a lovely piece, powerful and eye-catching. When you have your studio, you will be able to merge your digital talents with cut and paste. Now THAT's fun!
