I want to stop and take pictures of every building, home, and barn I see. It could take days to get where I need to be. This is the Mill Office of what use to be one of the largest manufacturer of socks in the United States.

I wonder if all the missing socks go back home looking for their roots!
Cool photo!
I can see how you could easily be sidetracked!!
I love photographing old buildings and such. I also love getting up close and smelling the oldness and looking for the tiny little oddities of rust, or wear, or damage.
It's a good thing that we're not traveling together, Elizabeth! We'd NEVER get anywhere. I love to ramble and roam. You never know what will turn up, and I adore taking pics of architecture. I find it very intriguing. Happy travels! Hugs, Terri xoxo
magnificent photo!
I love old houses, barns and any building that has been around for along time. I love this photo, and you have made it very enteresting.
Happy Valentines Day, Mary
I'm not sure of your current location, but this could easily be in Spartanburg Co. SC. We have so many lovely old mills, so include this area to your route home. You won't be sorry! Love this fabulous photo, with its incredible colors and rich history.
I want to be in the car with you and Terri! I think we're soul sisters. I always dreamed of driving across country and photographing tobacco barns, tiny little village halls in quaint villages, amazing old courthouses, and .... well YOU know.....I know you do!
What a great pic!!!
