Look What is in My Tree - Felt Birdies

This weekend brought a couple of new felt birdies to my house. I am finding that making these little birdies are extremely relaxing. They just sort of form themselves. The smallest one is the top one, he is about two inches high. The blue bird thinks he is so pretty - he has a large head. All ego. These little birds just make me smile. This is a great project for when you are watching a movie or a show.

What an awesome little creation, that brings such joy! Isn't it great that some brightly colored felt can bring about something so beautiful? What a wonderful inspiration. Do you have a pattern or do you just allow your mind and hands to take over? Without a pattern my little bird would look like a ball of felt with a button stitched on......humpf! You are so talented.

These are darling. DO you have a pattern to share? I'm not much into fabric or stitching but as I would love one of these birdies, may have to give it a go.

I love your felt birdies, you make them really well :)
I have needle felted a rose before but it was with a mold that gives you the shapes, kinda cheating LOL, and I sometimes like to do some flat needle felting. Next up, I want to try wet felting :)
