Theme Thursday Challenge - Bookmarks

This week the Theme Thursday challenge is bookmarks. Make a bookmark. It can be cut and glued, digital, whatever you feel like. Seeing as I haven't been able to participate the past couple of weeks I decided to a make two. So, here they are. I could have kept going, they are always so much fun to make and use. I often leave one in the restroom of the local library for someone to find.

I love making bookmarks!!! Boy, it would be a happy day, if I found one of yours in the restroom!!! Altho, I'd probably spend all day looking for who "dropped" it!! I wouldn't believe someone would leave that little piece of art there on purpose!!!!:>)

Elizabeth, they are gorgeous and what a neat idea to leave them around for others to enjoy using. You may start a new trend with this idea.

I LOVE THEM and I love the idea of leaving one in the restroom for somebody to find. I love that kind of stuff. I once was taking pictures of trees when I thought I saw something in the cavity of the tree. When I pulled it out it was a package of postcard size art and the artist had asked the finder to just take two, one for themselves and one to leave in another spot. :)Bea

I just love the idea of leaving little gifts around. Imagine the stories that could be told by each!
Maybe I'm just in a strange mood today, but seeing you use the word 'restroom' made me smile. Here in the UK it's the 'toilet', or if we're being proper and polite the ladies' or gents'. I don't know what they are like in the States, but a public toilet is never anywhere I would choose to go for a rest unless you are perhaps in The Ritz! Claim to fame. I once used the 'facilities' in St James's Palace - brings new meaning to the expression 'throne room'. Don't you just love language?
Sorry, what a lot of waffle!

Love the colors and your bird is just great! How funny that you leave the bookmarks for others....I've left them at Barnes & Nobles on the tables. Sometimes a friend and I make them there and then leave them!!! Random acts of art. Thanks for sharing.

I used to leave a poem at the doctor's office or the library or some other public place I often wondered what happened to them
Not everyone likes poetry
but a bookmark.....I shall make some
I am a sucker for checkerboard
if I give you my address...would you leave it my restroom?

I love the book marks! I think they are wonderful and would make a fantastic addition to your book while you're reading. Maybe you should make a bunch and give them for Stocking stuffers. They really are beautiful!
