Driving through Tennessee I spotted this barn sitting way up on a hill. I quickly got off the highway and found it. It has seen some weather. If this barn could talk I wonder what stories it could tell.

Great Pic!!
Very cool photo ~ sadly there are a LOT of those old barns cropping up across the country. Like you said, if they could talk ~ the stories they could tell. It's sad to see; because you know at some date and time it was once some farmers pride and joy when it was first built.
a beautiful photograph..hauntingly beautiful!!
You've captured another awesome piece of Americana, Elizabeth. Fabulous capture! I'd have stopped my car too! Hugs, Terri xoxo
That's an interesting question. I posed the same one after reading the book The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.
Wondered what stories that hotel could reveal. What an building has to offer?
Would make a good book!
This is stunning and I'd love to hear its stories. Penny
I am your phantom passenger. You are doing what I always longed to do, and you're photographing exactly what I would have stopped to photograph! I can't tell you how I enjoy your blog! Your photos would make a wonderful coffee table book of Americana, by the way. Ever thought about it?
OOOHHH , I love old barns !!!
Great digi photo .
