The Three Muses Challenge - Angels

say a little prayer

This weeks challenge from The Three Muses is Angels. One of my favorite themes. I love to take pictures in cemeteries of the towns I visit. You can tell so much about a place by their cemeteries. Here is my angel. We all could use a prayer or two. I am praying for a better year for everyone.

Ohh I love your sweet angel too! So powerful even as she kneels in prayer and I agree we can always use a few more prayers.
Thanks for the nice words you left on my blog, and I'm glad Riley caught your eye!! He's so much fun to photograph, challenging, but fun. Take care!

beautiful angel, so powerful .
yes extra prayers are very welcome.
I used to take the boys( then toddlers) for walks on the cemetry in Perth as that was the only safe place nearby for them to walk freely.

She's gorgeous, Elizabeth, and so serene. We all could use a little serenity along with the prayers. Know that they're being offered as we 'speak'. Hugs, Terri xoxo

PS One can NEVER have too many angels.

Hey, you're not late. It's only Friday and there are still days to go. Your angel is exquisite especially as it is your own photo. The colour and texture you have added is superb. Thanks so much for joining in the challenge this week.

This is one of the most expressive and beautiful stone angels I've seen! Thank you so much for sharing her. I love to explore old cemeteries too. I once visited an old pioneer cemetery where some of my ancestors were buried. Noting a message nearly buried from view, I carefully brushed aside grass and soil to read "Think of me as you pass by, for you too shall surely die"! Hmmm

Very beautiful, Elizabeth. I love working with angels but I didn't do this challenge.

Thanks so much for the comments on my g.d.'s entry to ACF. That's a real encouragement for her.
