Start the day with...Thriftiness

Last night was the last night in my house. Today the movers are coming to finish packing and whisk away my bed. Yesterday was bittersweet watching the contents of my house slowly being packed and put on a truck. My house will be happier I think. It needs a family to fill it with laughter and memories.

This morning I wanted to share this utility barn with you. I think it is so clever the way they used part of an old metal sign to cover the front and the door. How thrifty is that? True recycling going on here. When I stumbled upon this barn I realized the old cliche of "thinking outside the box" for a solution was alive and well!

Don't look back, Elizabeth, the future is bright and right in front of you! I'll be thinking about you today and will send good thoughts.

BTW - I LOVE this utility barn. I once mentioned to my husband that someone should ride around the country, take pics of the old outbuildings and write a book on them. They are fabulous with wonderful stories to tell.

Good luck today, My Dear Friend! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo

You are wise, Elizabeth. There is a time for everything, even for a house. What a lovely thought- the house will be happier with a large family to fill it! I appreciate your blog! Bless you on your next chapter.

Oh I LOVE IT!!! I'm sorry to say that I'm probably too far away for you to come and stay, though I'd welcome you any time. Best of luck on this part of the journey!!!
