Digital Photograph...Learn to pause

In the Yahoo group Art Techniques Digital we are given a weekly challenge. This week, one of the Moderator's [Sherre] mother is having a birthday. She is in her 90's and this year has been a hard year for her. Her favorite flowers are roses so we were asked to do something with roses.

This is my interpretation of some advice she might give us if we were sitting down to tea with her. I am sure she has lots of wisdom gleamed in over 90 years.

I took this photo with my iphone at the grocery store. Then put it into photoshop and did my thing. Hope you will all join me in wishing Sherre's mom a wonderful birthday!

Thank you so much ladies. This was such a fun digital to do. To answer Melodie's question. There are eleven layers in this one.

I would love to know if you have any recommendations for learning photoshop, a book or online class?
