The Three Muses Challenge - Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa one of the most recognized paintings in the world. The Three Muses blog challenged all to use this image in some way digitally. Of course I did it ten ways to Sunday. No seriously I had a great time playing around adding her here and there. It was great Photo shop practice. Below are just a few of tonight's Mona Madness.

Looking for some flag day images I came across the Statue of Liberty. Mona just jumped up there and took over. She felt her smile was a little less serious. After all Miss Liberty has seen her share of the tired and poor.

This early 1900 painting was just perfect to work into a digital collage. Mona goes Asian.

"She loves you Yeah Yeah Yeah." I am sorry Ringo fans but your inner Mona has taken over.

This image is from Artarazzi. I just love these three ladies having their cup of tea together. It is so cute. So I added the Mona face and her name on the mug. That's all it really needed. It gave me a great chuckle to think that this might be the modern age Mona.

Elizabeth, I see that you have done several. All are spectacular! It's funny you chose the Statue of Liberty as one of your themes. I had thought of doing the same, but ended up choosing Mt.Rushmore for mine. This is my first time I'm visiting your blog. I'm so glad I stopped by.

Wow! What an absolute feast of Monas and I love them all. We won't tell Ringo you left him out. I have been marvelling at so many entries and such variety. There isn't one Mona even vaguely like any other. Now you give us three - and they are all so different and fantastic. May I take a line from "When Harry Met Sally" to say "I'll have what she's having". Your imagination obviously knows no bounds! What a great gift you have - as well as the artistic skills to carry your ideas through.

Our next challenge will be posted next Wednesday (or maybe Tuesday night in some parts of the world). We are way ahead of you all down here in Australia. Well, in time at least). Hope to see you there for "Doors".

Thanks again for all your great work!!

Cheers from Marie.

You are an absolute star and your sense of humour is something to behold. I always knew Mona had a naughty side and I've always thought she was a dark horse but here is the proof in your array of Mona's.

These all made me smile so much, thank you for joining in the fun.

I find all of these pieces very powerful and moving. You combine elements in your collages so beautifully and uniquely. It's a pleasure to visit and to see what you've been creating.

Elizabeth-
These are absolutely hysterical.

Just the chuckle I needed to get my morning off to the right start, after having been down with a head cold for a few days.

The 3 ladies are simply marvelous.
Again, lots of ideas come to mind.

ooo Elizabeth your Mona Madness is fantastic, I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite!!! It's clear you had a lot of fun with this challenge. I borrowed a mermaid tail from your freebies to alter my Mona. I can see I am missing a lot of fun not stepping into the digital world...I am just not there yet :)
