Art Creations Friday - Longing for Home

Happy Birthday Art Creations Friday! I love how you gave us the very first image to create with. I was not there for the first challenge so it was so much fun to get a chance to use this beautiful image. I decide to make this week's challenge all about you. I used two more of the images you have so kindly given us through the year. Tweaked the colors added an engraving and some script and here we are. Thank you so much for challenging us to make something and step outside our box. I can't wait for the next year!

It's beautiful, Elizabeth! I considered this background, too, but I don't know digital manipulation, other than some basic things. This is a fabulous creation!

Your background is absolutely fabulous, Elizabeth, but then you make some of the best backgrounds. Like you I was determined to leave her beauty unscathed! Gorgeoud presentation. Hugs, Gayle...who sure wishes she was closer so I could come to the artists party in person...sigh. You would laugh if you saw the word verification for this note...I will only say it starts with 'pity'....isn't that a hoot...?

Hi Elizabeth!
THANK YOU so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment about saving the greyhounds! What a big heart your cousin has! The members of this organization have such big hearts for these gentle, loving animals . . . it's so touching!!!

I assume you used acrylic paints? Or is it done digitally?
