Bird Freebies

This week I was a little late with the free images. So I decided to share a few of my favorite birds. Some of these birds I see almost daily. For instance the Red- Winged Blackbird, the sweet Tufted Titmouse and the Brown Thrasher. Others, like the Baltimore Oriole are only here for a short time before they fly away to nest and raise their young. I find that the simple things in life - like these birds enrich my life. I hope these images will enrich your art work.

Thank you Elizabeth for these wonderful birds pics. I love birds and particularly the older single focused ones.

Thanks so much for your generosity! Here in the window seat of the "altered attic," I just saw a bird walking along the box gutter - one of the things I like about being on the third floor:)

Thank you ever so much for the images. I'm always looking for any kind of images. The one picture of the red-winged blackbird reminds me of this summer. At the creek behind my apartment building these birds nested and had their young ones over the summer. There is a path along the creek which is nice to take a leisurely walk. Every now and then thse silly red-winged blackbirds will come out and swarm you if they think you are going near their nests. It's interesting to sit and listen to them talk to each other and the games they play. Thank you for including this image.

Elizabeth thanks so much for sharing your lovely bird images with us. We also see the Red Winged Blackbirds here in western Canada but more of the Yellow winged ones.

Thanks for the cool images. I'm also just getting started with "collage art" and this really helps. I have a question: are these copyright free so they can be used on a piece that gets sold or are they for personal use only?
Thanks-
